R-KIVE: Features
The TTSAO R-Kive system is a web-based application that will allow you to upload student transcripts, as well as view and retrieve the transcripts that you have uploaded.
key components of the system are:
- Document Capture
There are two ways to add documents to the system: 1. paper documents can be quickly scanned and imported into the system in an inexpensive and easy manner and 2. electronic documents can be added directly. (The volume of documents captured depends on the working environment and can range from a handful of documents to thousands per day in high capture environments.)
- Document Repository
The electronic document management system provides long-term, secure and reliable storage for documents. The software accommodates changes made to documents over time and total volume of documents, and it can carefully manage and limit access of documents to specific users or groups as required by the PCC.
- Document Indexing and Tagging
The R-Kive system provides a structured means of indexing and tagging student transcripts so that they can be easily categorized for later retrieval.
- Document Search
R-Kive allow users to find the right documents easily through index searches using controlled terminology or through free-text searching using text contained within the document. Searching via either means should make finding documents very easy and accurate.
- Document Access Control
R-Kive will allow for the tight access control for all schools transcripts, ensuring the confidentiality and privacy of student records. This control also ensures that the student transcript can be verified as a true and original copy.
