The TTSAO is pleased to annouce the launch of its R-Kive Transcript Storage System. Pursuant to the September 18, 2007 requirement that all Private Career Colleges are required to have an agreement in place with a pre-qualifying vendor for the maintenance and issuance of student transcripts, it has been determined by the Superintendent of Private Career Colleges that TTSAO is now pre-approved as such a vendor of and authorized producer for student course transcripts.

Some of the features of the R-Kive system include:
  • A highly secure, Ontario-based web portal designed specifically for the issuance and preservation of student transcripts
  • Unlimited on-line data-access by TTSAO clients to student transcript information
  • Use of on-line forms for data uploads
  • With Adobe, or a compatible PDF conversion (as there are some available), you can easily generate records of transcripts from a variety of applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, or others. Acrobat will also ensure security around version control of transcript information. This allows the TTSAO to certify that the transcript is the true and original copy.
  • Eventual uploads of mass transcript data from student-administration system databases through web API transfers
  • Powerful search capability that allows schools to easily track, identify and download previous transcripts so that they can be faxed or emailed to the appropriate individual.
  • Prompt transmission of transcript data
  • 25-year archival storage of student transcript information (as mandated under the PCC Act 2005),
  • Easy-To-Use Interace
  • Online and Telephone Support
The following items enumerate the obligations for TTSAO under the PCC Act, 2005 and are effective as of September 18, 2006:

  1. Under the PCC Act, 2005 and its Regulations, Private Career Colleges were required as of September 18, 2006 to protect the transcripts of all students enrolled on that date, as well as for all future students.
  2. In order to accommodate the anticipated backlog of transcripts issued prior to the September 18, 2007 deadline when all student transcripts will need to be stored within 90 days of the students leaving the Private Career College, TTSAO has established a protocol of reduced pricing to remain in effect up until December 31, 2007 after which the regular price structure will take effect (see below for price structure).
